SHIBA-CON Presented by the Japanese Arts Foundation

Join us for the first annual SHIBA-CON at Ludlow Liquors to help support MSIR and SIRA, two regional Shiba rescues!

Come out for an afternoon of snacks, drinks, and of course - shibes! Meet two organizations dedicated to saving shibas, and even some available fosters looking for homes! You can also learn how to become a foster home yourself! You are also welcome to bring your own shiba or pup along for the festivities!

Chiyo Takemoto, owner of Coquetel Collective will be featuring three specialty cocktails for the event and one spirit-free option. Each guest will be welcomed with an 'amuse booze'.

This dog and family friendly event also features a Pet Friendly Pop-up Portrait Studio by Mandy Dempsey Photography!

Gallery proofing is available, you choose your portraits - additional portraits available for purchase. 1 pet max per session spot. Book consecutive spots if you have more than one pet. Personal use. Patio of Ludlow Liquors. Portion of the proceeds donated to Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue and Shiba Inu Rescue Association.

Please visit https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=18402174 to book your session! Walk-ups are welcome as available.

Snacks by SuperHai at Ludlow / Drinks by Coquetel and Ludlow

All proceeds go to MSIR (Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue) and SIRA (Shiba Inu Rescue Association), two organizations who are dedicated to saving Shiba Inus that find themselves displaced, whether from commercial breeding facilities or needing new homes. We know it’s hard to believe you can ADOPT such special dogs as Shiba Inus, but this event hopes to share just how many shibas out there need homes and to put an end to commercial breeding facilities.
